Spotted in the Gayborhood: Bud and Marilyn’s is Glowing

It may be the pot of gold at the end of those rainbow crosswalks at 13th and Locust Streets: Bud and Marilyn’s, the newest restaurant in the Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran empire, looks like it is just about ready to open, and the new red neon sign that indicates the name of the establishment is all aglow.

Unless you’ve been hiding under a big Philly rock, you know that Turney and Safran are the lesbian partners who essentially rebirthed 13th Street with all of the restaurants and shops we love. Turney has been providing a very tasty preview of things to do come on her Instagram account of the last several days, and I honestly can’t wait:
