Talk about a money shot: We discovered a very strange, very eerie, very funny PSA about safe sex that involves a man dressed as a giant penis, a bunch of unsuspecting people, and huge amounts of glitter. Need we say more?
The commercial is the brainchild of RFSU, the Riksförbundet för Sexuell Upplysning (the Swedish Association for Sexuality Education). The organization was founded in 1933 and has championed abortion rights, sex education, contraception, and the decriminalization of homosexuality. Sweden has been called “the sexually transmitted infection capital of Europe” by the Daily Mail, and RFSU apparently thought some outlandish humor might inspire folks to use a condom.
