FRIDAY
Mazzoni Center honors Philly Pride Presents head Franny Price and AIDS-advocating drag diva Cherry Pop at their annual Elixr gala.
- Mummers brigade the Spartans are hosting a big ol’ drag party/fundraiser with Brittany Lynn and her ever-growing Drag Mafia. There are three showtimes: 8, 9 and 10 pm. Let’s hope those bitches took a disco nap.
- Whosoever Metropolitan Community Church’s Reverend Jeffrey H. Jordan hosts an evening of Bible-affirming coming out stories.
- Liberty City LGBT Democrat Club hosts its annual Gayborhood bar crawl to encourage folks to vote next Tuesday and, um, get sloshed in the name of liberty!
- The Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus are getting you ready for beach season in “Summer in the City,” at Prince Music Theater (continues through Saturday).
- Stimulus is hosting the “Ultimate House Party” at Voyeur to celebrate their sixth anniversary. Still so young!
- The Gayborhood crowns Miss Fish Philly 2015 at Tabu, with host Bev.
- NSFW Dance Party is helping to make all your greasy garage fantasies come true at this month’s Mad Mechs dance party at Medusa Lounge.
SATURDAY
- Try out your new trunks and fight the C-word at Nicholas Casey’s “Cancer’s a Drag Bathing Suit Bar Crawl,” which starts at Boxers PHL and continues on to Woody’s, Tabu, and Tavern on Camac.
- Qventures takes their fourth rock-climbing adventure to Go Vertical.
- Superstar DJ Tracy Young spins at Voyeur.
- Now that Miss Fish Philly has been crowned, it’s time for Philly Dyke March to name Mr. Philadelphia Drag King 2015, at William Way.
- Comedy drag troupe Haus of Ham takes on Cats in Purrlesque.
SUNDAY
The Anti-Defamation League has teamed with more than 60 local nonprofits for the 5K Walk Against Hate. The event seeks to tackle hate of all varieties—whether its race, gender, class, sexual orientation, all of it! To put a little LGBT love in the mix, they’ve invited Brittany Lynn and her Drag Mafia to perform on the main stage on the Parkway.
- How do you like your eggs? Shimmied? Good, because Liberty City Kings Drag and Burlesque is hosting Drag Brunch at Tabu.
- Gayborhood party producer Josh Schonewolf hosts oNow That’s What I Call a Gay Party at Victoria Freehouse, with a two-hour $2 drink special starting at 9 pm.
- Sinful Sundays at Tabu has gone to hell. Now, the Goddess Isis hosts Fire, a weekly show featuring two performers. This week: 2014 Miss Fish Philly Mary D’Knight and Iris Spectre.
