Don’t people realize that there are surveillance cameras everywhere these days, especially in state-run liquor stores? This guy apparently doesn’t know or doesn’t care, as evidenced by his performance for the cameras inside the state store at 180 West Girard Avenue in Northern Liberties.
According to police, the incident occurred on May 1st at 7:52 p.m. Watch as he takes a bottle of Champagne from the shelf (looks like Veuve to us) and then shoves it down his pants before running out of the store.
Police describe him as follows: “Black male, 20 years-of-age, wearing a black shirt, black pants, and black sneakers.” Anyone with information is asked to call police at 215-686-3243.
