Missing King of Prussia Teen Turns Up In Ohio

He disappeared on Wednesday.

King of Prussia teen Nicholas Tornambe has been located in Ohio, alive and well. Here is a statement from the Upper Merion Police Department:

The Upper Merion Police Department can now report that Nicholas Tornambe has been located in Ohio and he will be reunited with his family soon. Thanks to the greater Upper Merion community for their assistance in the search effort. An official press release from the Upper Merion Police Department will be forthcoming.

The Upper Merion Police Department is asking for the public’s help to find Nicholas Tornambe, an 18-year-old King of Prussia resident who disappeared on Wednesday, May 6th.

Police say that Tornambe left his Crossfield Road home near the Upper Merion Middle School around 10 p.m. on Wednesday, and no one has seen or spoken with him since. Tornambe is a student at Upper Merion High School, where he runs track.

According to an alert sent out by police on Friday night, Tornambe is a hiker and enjoys the Horse-Shoe Trail, a 140-mile hiking path that stretches from Valley Forge National Historical Park to a endpoint about 15 miles northeast of Harrisburg, joining up with the Appalachian Trail.

Police describe Tornambe as follows:

5’6”, 140 pounds
Brown collar length shaggy hair
Brown eyes
18 years of age
