Jaclyn Jennings
My name is Jaclyn Jennings and I dedicate this WCW to the intelligent and beautiful women who make this community a better place. I am proud to call them my friends. Here we go ...

Sammy Munsch
It's impossible for me to not have a bro crush on my lovely roommate, Sammy. Curls, a sense of humor, and a killer personality are just a few things that will make you swoon when you meet her. When she's not working at DeVry University, you can catch her shooting pictures at nightlife and non-profit events throughout the community. If you see her, don't hesitate to stop and say hi. I did, and I made a friend for life!

Amber Hikes
If you haven't heard her name by now you are definitely living under a rock. Director of the Upward Bound Program at the University of Pennsylvania, event producer, philanthropist, and GrillMistress extraordinaire, Amber does it all flawlessly. This is one woman who will continue to leave her blazing mark on Philadelphia's LGBTQ community. She has brains, beauty, and a Batman addiction?! I'm sold!

Mary Pitek
I have her to credit for my involvement with The Welcoming Committee. As a Community Manager for the Philadelphia branch of TWC, Mary plays an essential role in creating safe spaces for LGBTQ individuals all over the city. TWC takes over typically straight bars, sports games, special events, and travel destinations for one-time experiences. She does all this with a smile on her face, amazing style, and her adorable pitbull pup by her side. Joining the Philly Corps has been a great decision for me and I could not have done it without her help.

Christina Ferraz
CEO of Thirty6Five a graduate student at Temple University [and, editor's note, G Philly contributor], Christina is a total boss and still manages to make an appearance at the best community events. Not only is she an inspiration to other female entrepreneurs, but this Texas native is a total sweetheart. Don't get it twisted though; she won't sugarcoat the truth and that is one important reason I value our fiery friendship.

Katie Hinchey
Student at Bryn Mawr, activist, and dedicated volunteer. I met Katie my first year of Philly Dyke March as we were co-organizing together. Her intelligence is one of the first things I noticed about her. She's got you covered on everything from social justice and current events to the latest Beyoncé news. She is serious about change and we need that type of motivation and awareness in our community. The fact that we are both equally obsessed with Harry Potter is just a huge bonus.
