Gloria Allred Introduces Three More Bill Cosby Accusers
UPDATE: Hollywood Reporter has the details on Bill Cosby’s three new accusers: Linda Kilpatrick, Lynn Neal and a woman identified only as “Kacey.” During the press conference (above), the women detailed their allegations of sexual abuse against the embattled comedian.
Cosby has never been criminally charged with rape or sexual assault and maintains his innocence.
ORIGINAL: Just when we thought that the Bill Cosby accusations might be coming to an end, attorney Gloria Allred sent us an email saying otherwise.
Allred says that three more women are going to come forward with allegations against Bill Cosby on Wednesday afternoon in Los Angeles and that she’ll be addressing recent remarks made by Cosby-defender Phylicia Rashad.
Here is the full statement:
Three new women who allege that they were victims of Bill Cosby hold press conference with Attorney Gloria Allred today.
Three new women who allege that they were victims of Bill Cosby and who have not spoken out previously will hold a news conference today, January 7, 2015, at 11:30 am PST with Attorney Gloria Allred at 6300 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 1500, in Los Angeles.
At the press conference, the women will describe what they allege that Mr. Cosby did to them and they will explain why they are coming forward now.
Ms. Allred will also respond to comments by Cosby’s former TV wife, Phylicia Rashad, who was reported today to have said “Forget these women. What you are seeing is the destruction of a legacy, and it’s a legacy that is so important to the culture.”
At the press conference Ms. Allred will also discuss women’s rights protests to be held in Canada this week protesting Cosby’s performing his show today, tomorrow and Friday.
