DO THIS: Boxers PHL Grand Opening Celebration On Saturday With An Open Bar

New Gayborhood sports bar Boxers PHL has been open for a couple weeks, but owners are ready to make it official with a special grand-opening hoopla on Saturday.

The bar and all those shirtless, mesh shorts-wearing bartenders will be celebrating with an open bar on Saturday, November 15th, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will also be music by DJ Chris Urban, and appetizers and raffle prizes being passed around throughout the hour.

I asked Director of  Marketing George Maestre if the food being served would be from the as-of-yet-unopened Boxers PHL kitchen, but he says they’re not quite ready for that yet. “Unfortunately, the kitchen is not open yet. The food will be catered. the flyer basically says all the info… [The party] is a basically an hour of open bar and party as a thank you to the Philly gay community.”
