Yes, my extra fruity flyness has a type: smart, handsome and wildly creative men with a flair for fashion (and who dabble with a little George Michael scruff from time to time). Woof!
Not only is Joseph an incredibly talented composer (he created music about the Sapphic letters of Mercedes de Acosta, for heaven's sake), but he takes some of the most poetic selfies on Instagram. Move over, James Dean.
Daniel owns Wilbur Vintage on Fabric Row. He and I can sometimes verbally duke it out like something out of an Albee play, but he's a sweetheart (who can cut a rug) who will always tell you when you're looking your best (or worst).
How this sexy salt-and-pepper guy is single I'll never know. He's a creative soul with a brilliant sense of humor and delicious collection of vegetarian recipes. He even makes his own mobiles—check out his Etsy site.
He can dress up like Edith Piaf (or Andy Warhol) all he likes, but beneath the costumes and behind the stage curtains this actor and musical innovator is a hunk of a man. That he channels powerful women from time to time only adds to the appeal. Viva la Bearded Ladies!
The first chance I got as editor of G Philly, I slapped his face on the cover. Kevin's funny, driven (he owns Verde Salon in Collingswood) and he knows how to wear some dark and brooding eyewear that will make you melt. If Philly had a gay Jon Hamm, it would be this guy.
Here are the rules: (1) Name five to 10 guys you’re crushing on, and tell us why they have your heart aflutter (2) You and all men involved have to be from Philadelphia (3) Email your crushes to jmiddleton@phillymag.com.
