Over the last three years, through my camera lens, I have had the pleasure of watching Sinnamon develop into one of our city’s premiere burlesque dancers. Recently crowned winner of Philadelphia’s Burlesque Battle Royale, this core member of Liberty City Kings hypnotizes me every time she twirls her tassels.

Hands down one of my favorite filmmakers (Bumming Cigarettes) and visual artists. Period. She also promotes and helps distribute other artists' works through her company Harriet’s Gun Media, which focuses on dissecting race, gender and sexuality. So basically when I grow up, I want to be just like Tiona M.

Philly Dyke March readies for its annual march with a good old-fashioned craft night and sign-making party. The first time I saw Luna perform I was completely mesmerized. She is like the illegitimate love child of Courtney Love and Candy Darling. She pours her wickedly talented soul into every performance, and can be seen regularly playing with gender and covered in glitter as a member of Liberty City Kings and performers with the Factory Girls.

With a distinctly beautiful visual style, Tara is rapidly becoming one of the most sought after wedding photographers in Philly. Her company, Tara Beth Photography, was recently featured on equallywed.com. Besides flirting with national attention, Tara is an absolute sweetheart who lends her gifted talents to creating positive imagery of our queer community.
