Stonewall Kickball Registration

Washington D.C.'s Stonewall Kickball league is expanding to Philly, adding a new sport to Philly's already busy LGBT sports scene. Games begin in town on July 15th at Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR) Park in South Philadelphia, and organizers are looking for teammates to kick balls, run bases, and all that other stuff kickballers do. Registration is currently in progress, and you don't have to go anywhere to sign up. Just go to stonewallsports.org. Players will be able to play one game per week for the summer season, they'll receive a uniform T-shirt, and invitations to a bunch of social events hosted by the team's sponsor, Tabu Lounge and Sports Bar. Here's hoping somebody who can bend it like Beckham will be on your team!

Noord's One-Year Anniversary Open House

G Philly's 2013 pick for Best BYO, East Passyunk Avenue's Dutch eatery Noord, is turning 1 this year, and having a little shindig to celebrate. Stop by and congratulate out owner Joncarl Lachman, and nibble on some his famous bitterballen (Dutch braised pork meatballs), and some smoked fish. Tuesday, May 6, 6 p.m., free, Noord, 1046 Tasker Street.

Miss Everything Pageant Kicks Off

Josh Schonewolf is throwing another drag pageant? The answer is yes, and apparently this one is everything. Miss Everything, to be exact. Akin to his Songbird competition, this is a 10-week event that's looking for Philly's most ferocious, gorgeous, gag-worthy, fishy female (some of the contestants are biological women.) There are 16 vying for the prize, and they'll be lead through the competition — hilariously — by Brittany Lynn. Drag Official's Bee Reed, and drag queen mainstays Navaya Shay and TheGoddess Isis will serve as judges. Wednesday, May 7th, then every Wednesday until a winner is chosen, 9 p.m. (doors), 10 p.m. (show), $7, Tabu Lounge and Sports Bar, 200 South 12th Street.

15 Years of Philly Dyke March Opening Reception

William Way kicks off its new exhibition, commemorating 15 years of the Philly Dyke March, with an opening party this Thursday. The exhibit will feature banners, posters, memorabilia, and photos from the Dyke March's past, as well as a bit of a recruitment sesh and T-shirt party for the upcoming June 7th walk. Refreshments will be served. Thursday, May 8th, 6 p.m., William Way LGBT Community Center, 1315 Spruce Street.

COLLAGE Festival 2014

The queer-centric 2014 COLLAGE Festival kicks off this week, showcasing three days of art that's dedicated to the "idea of collaboration, intermingling, exploration and diversity." Forty artists from around the world will showcase every kind of artistic medium — from movement and fashion to aerospace. Keep your eyes peeled for work by COLLAGE founder Toby Celery, singer-songwriter George Alley (pictured, and in the festival's trailer), and Dumpsta Players regular Lance Pawling.
