Hercules Claimed One Life Before It Even Started
Worker killed in Bucks County yesterday afternoon.
A 100-foot-tall pile of road salt collapsed at the International Salt facility in Falls Township, Bucks County, yesterday afternoon, fatally suffocating an excavator operator.
“All indications are, just a tragic accident, but it is obviously still under investigation,” says Falls Township Fire Marshal Rich Dippolito.
“The salt kept collapsing around us. We had to hook up heavy equipment to pull the excavator away to actually get to the patient,” he said.
Officials have not yet released the man’s name. [CBS3]
