WEEKEND ROUNDUP: Sashaying Santa, Nasty Frosty and More Kinky Holiday Offerings
This weekend Fire & Ice is hosting Winter Wonderland: Drag Brunch, a snappy Saturday affair that seems to have it all: great food, drinks, a fab drag show, that dreamboat who won Most Original Stoli Guy, and the opportunity to do something nice for Philly’s LGBTQ youth.
The afternoon will see performances by some of the most sickening ladies in the business: Mercedes Monroe, Anna Rexia, Icon Ebony-Fierce, Aloe Vera and Aurora Whorealis to name a few. Stoli — which is sponsoring the event — will also unleash its hunky Most Original Stoli Guy Billy Cavallo, who will probably regale the crowd with a tune or two while shirtless and in briefs. (Jingle balls!)
Proceeds from the door will go to Foyer of Philadelphia, an organization that works to support LGBTQ homeless youth and assists those who have aged out of the foster care system. It’s an especially important cause around this time of giving. No one should be homeless or alone on Christmas. More details here: Sat., Dec., 21, noon, $10 (general admission)-$30 (entreé, endless Screwdrivers and Bloody Marys), Fire & Ice, 312 Market St.
