Yahoo! Autocomplete Thinks Philly Is “Ugly”
Also way off about Pittsburgh.
The Atlantic Cities flags a website that collects Yahoo! autocomplete searches for various cities, states, and countries, and then flings them onto a map. Philly, per usual, got the short end of the stick.
Also: no.
For the record, this stuff is fairly curated. If you type “Philadelphia is” into a Yahoo! search bar, “ugly” is not the first search term that comes up. Though now that Yahoo! has been notified of its nasty little habit, we may see some decidedly friendlier search suggestions.
In fairness, though, the mean people who use Yahoo instead of Google, seem to have most good cities.
