Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane, who declined to defend PA’s Marriage Equality Ban, champions a progressive movement towards LGBT and educational equality in Pennsylvania.
Kane broaches the latter topic from a law enforcement standpoint, equating the opposition to LGBT equality with an individual taking the liberty of another. She then moves to remind folks about the alarming inequalities based on race and gender that have existed in our society in the not so distant past.
Declaring that all men, women, and persons are created equal, she emphasizes that the time for equality is now, for both the educational system and the LGBT community.
