NJ Waitress Refused Tip Because of Her Lesbian “Lifestyle”
This kind of stuff happens way too often: WABC-TV reports that New Jersey waitress — and former marine — Dayna Morales had just finished up one of her tables at the Gallop Asian Bistro in Bridgewater, N.J., when she found that in lieu of a tip, the patrons left her a nasty message. It said: “I’m sorry but I cannot tip because I do not agree with your lifestyle and the way you live your life.”
Morales said she never told the family of four that she was gay, and that things got off to a rocky start as soon as she went to the table to introduce herself. Morales said when she told them her name was Dayna, “The mom proceeded to look at me and say ‘oh I thought you were gonna say your name is Dan.’” Vile!
Morales reportedly shrugged off the comment and continued to serve the meal, only to find the anti-gay tip after the family left. She took a photo of the receipt and sent it to the “Have a Gay Day” Facebook page, where it’s gotten more than 2,000 comments, including one from Morales herself: “Thanks everyone for your support — it took very fiber of my being not to spit in their food and say something. (Not gonna lie if kids weren’t there it would of been a totally different story.)”
