Questlove Releasing Book About Soul Train

Just months after releasing critically well-received Mo’ Beta Blues, Questo of the Roots has a new jawn out. Soul Train: The Music, Dance, and Style of a Generation will hit bookstores on October 22nd.
As Quest recently told Terry Gross, he has an encyclopedic memory of everything that’s every happened on “Soul Train,” so this will likely serve as our go-to encyclopedia on the show. That said, I’m not entirely psyched about the preface by Mr. Mariah Carey Cannon, who was all of 25 when the show aired its last episode. I am more psyched about Gladys Knight’s foreward.
