The One Upside to Being a Philly High Schooler
Don’t move out of the city yet, 30something gentrifiers! Looks like there’s a perk to being a high school student in Philadelphia after all!
A new pass will give high school students free admission to Philadelphia museums. Students at Museums in Philly, or STAMP, is available free to teens ages 14 to 19 who live in the city of Philadelphia.
Participating cultural institutions include:
African American Museum in Philadelphia, National Constitution Center, Barnes Foundation, National Museum of American Jewish History, Eastern State Penitentiary, Penn Museum, Fabric Workshop and Museum, Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Institute of Contemporary Art,Philadelphia Museum of Art, Mutter Museum and the Philadelphia Zoo.
Uh, that’s freaking awesome. How soon til the STAMP black market pops up? If you see me with a propeller beanie and overalls on lingering on the Parkway, you’ll know what’s up.
