“GAK is great stuff!” “GAK is stretchy!” GAK is also smack! Marc Summers, the host of the Nickelodeon show that created GAK, Double Dare, has at last explained the etymology of the word. He and his Philly-based crew of “interesting” characters named the gooey, oozing substance after the local slang word for heroin. (Summers still splits his time between LA and Philly.)
