Are Gay Marriages Coming to State College Too?

State College Mayor Elizabeth Goreham says that she can’t issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, she would honor those being handed out in Montgomery County. “If you have a license, I will marry you,” she said. Since Montco began issuing licenses on July 24th, Centre County has received phone calls from interested couples. The state has already sued Montco for the licenses; it’s unclear if they’d sue anyone for actually performing the marriages. [WJAC]
