This weekend sad news broke that actor Cory Monteith, who plays lovable jock Finn on Fox’s Glee, was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room at the age of 31. Today we want to take a moment to remember the talented young star, not only as an addition to one of the world’s most gay-loved shows, but as an avid hetero ally advocating against homophobia in the group Straight But Not Narrow

Even though he has had many amazing performances on the show, I put together a few of his best moments that capture the singer and actor in all his Glee-k glory — the very ones that had us swooning over the  sweet, naive star quarterback turned glee-clubber, Finn. R.I.P.

1. “Don’t Stop Believin'”

2. “Jessie’s Girl”

3. “Man in the Mirror”

4. “We’ve Got Tonight”

5. “Losing  My Religion”

6. Glee Journey medley

7. Glee cast performs on X-Factor
