Flash Flood Watch Today for the Philadelphia Region

More rain, guys! As if the past week hasn’t shown us enough of the wet stuff, Mother Nature apparently really has it in for Philly today. We’re under a flash flood watch today through this evening, with showers and thunderstorms expected to appear between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. This most recent bout of storms comes after an almost straight week of rain, which consequently has raised area water levels to “looks like that could flood” status. Philly even set a rainfall record for last month, so prepare to inflate flotation devices accordingly. [Philly.com]
