Philly Archbishop Chaput Apparently Worried About Paganism
Religious leaders and faith-centric political figures are constantly warning us about crises that the rest of us may or may not consider actual crises: Homosexuality, abortion rights, etc… Anyways, here’s a new one from Philly archbishop Charles Chaput, speaking last week in Spain: Paganism.
“A new evangelization must start with the sober knowledge that much of the once-Christian developed world, and even many self-described Christians, are in fact pagan.
Pagan like: “Don’t really believe in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior”? Or Pagan, like, “Toast to Bacchus every night during dinner?” I’d like to think it’s the latter. Local pagans, tell us how you like to worship in the comments please. [NBC 10]
