Philly Mob Associate Pleads Guilty To Federal Charges

Robert Ranieri has pleaded to being a loan shark for the Philly mob:

Ranieri faces a maximum possible sentence of 40 years in prison.

According to court documents, he admitted that he conspired with Philadelphia La Cosa Nostra Family capo Anthony Staino and other alleged mobsters to make a usurious loan to an undercover FBI agent.

Ranieri also admitted he threatened violence in order to collect payments on the loan.
