The Inquirer has compiled an amusing list of golfers already tweeting from Merion, apparently in defiance of the U.S. Open’s longstanding cellphone ban. (During last year’s Open, media were allowed to tweet from the press tent, and can get away with much more than the average fan. Non-media member cell phones are typically confiscated.)
