Grindr Users Get Sketched On New Tumblr Page

Since it launched in 2009, Grindr has become so much more than a mere hookup app. In the feature story in the current issue of G Philly, we show how it’s having an impact on the local job scene, and now it looks like it’s making waves in the art world, too. On the new Tumblr page Grindr Illustrated, an artist is plucking people’s profile pics and turning them into colorful illustrations. The page currently boasts around 50 images that run the gamut from shirtless selfies and provocative beach shots to frisky couples looking for a third. I’ve posted a few below. See anyone you know?
