Philadelphia Art Museum Brings “Pay What You Wish” to Wednesday
Uwishunu reports that the Philadelphia Museum of Art has brought “Pay What You Wish” pricing to the museum’s Wednesday evening hours: “For the budget-conscious art lovers, there’s no excuse not to visit, especially since the Philadelphia Museum of Art was just featured as #4 on Complex Magazine’s list of “100 Museums To Visit Before You Die.” The Wednesday night crowd will have the opportunity to explore the entire main building, showcasing works by Marcel Duchamp, Salvador Dalí, Himalayan artists and local luminaries such as Thomas Eakins until 8:45 p.m. Every week, music will fill the Great Stair Hall, and once a month, musicians will perform live in the galleries.” Tickets can be purchased online in advance.
