Penn State Officially Names Dave Joyner as Athletic Director

In another sign that post-Paterno stability is returning to Happy Valley, Penn State on Monday officially named Dave Joyner as its athletic director; he’d served as the “acting” A.D. since assuming the post in the weeks after the Jerry Sandusky scandal broke in 2011. Joyner will serve out his term with President Rodney Erickson; both men will be replaced in 2014. [AP]
