Penn State’s New Coach Wins Big Ten Award
For shepherding a scandal-tainted team to an 8-4 record in its first post-Paterno season, media members and fellow coaches have voted Penn State’s Bill O’Brien the 2012 Big Ten Coach of the Year. O’Brien’s success has already prompted whispers that he might move to coaching in the NFL, but he said in a radio interview yesterday that he would return to PSU for the 2012-13 season.
