Athorities Say Missing Girl Not in Danger After Twitter Trend

A Jersey teen sent out a tweet on Sunday evening indicating that someone had broken into her home. She asked people to call 911. Her message was retweeted more than 30,000 times and she’s gotten nearly 100,000 followers since the incident. Authorities went to the girl’s home to investigate and say that there was no sign of a disturbance. They say the 16-year-old isn’t in physical danger. Apparently a cabbie reported taking a girl matching her description to a train station. [NJ.com]
