Apple Received More Than 2 Million iPhone 5 Orders in 24 Hours

People are already lining up at the Apple store in Manhattan. Really. The iPhone 5 officially ships on September 21st. Apple began taking orders for the new device on the 14th, but was forced to push pause on that when the orders wouldn’t stop pouring in. Within the first 24 hours, Apple had received more than 2 million iPhone 5 orders. That’s more than twice as many orders as they received for the 4s model. [USA Today]
