Bob Dylan Bringing Mark Knopfler to Philadelphia

American songwriting legend Bob Dylan and Dire Straits front man Mark Knopfler teamed up for a successful string of European dates last year, and on November 19th, they’re bringing the show to the Wells Fargo Center. Ticket prices have not been announced — actually, the venue hasn’t even announced the show yet, though Dylan’s site confirms it — but the pre-sale begins on September 10th with tickets going on sale to the general public on September 14th. This tour is big news for Dylan fans, since he hasn’t done the arena circuit since 2006. Expect to hear tunes from Tempest, Dylan’s new album due out on September 11th, as well as songs from Dylan-Knopfler collaborations Slow Train Coming (1979) and Infidels (1983).
