Two Dogs Die in Car While Owner Eats at Jersey Restaurant

A 48-year-old man from Freehold Township is facing two counts of animal cruelty charges after his two rottweilers died in his car while he was at a restaurant in New Jersey. The owner says he left the car running and the air conditioning on. He thinks one of the dogs might have turned the defrost on. Temperatures in the vehicle were more than 100 degrees. [6 ABC]
