Comcast’s Net Income Jumps 32 Percent in Second Quarter
In case knowing the outcome of all of the Olympic events before they happen wasn’t enough of a reminder that you’re living under the Comcast regime, the cable giant posted a net income of $1.35 billion in the second quarter—good for a 32-percent jump on last year’s figure. And that comes in a quarter that saw the company earn bleak returns after NBCUniversal sank more than $210 million into a project that featured Tim Riggins and Rihanna in a live-action board game.
