10-Year-Old Girl Sexually Assaulted in South Philly

A 10-year-old girl was walking home from the pool with her 2-year-old brother when a man allegedly ran up behind her, sexually assaulted her, and tried to drag her away. She says that the assailant fled after she bit him on the hand and screamed. Neighbors say that they didn’t witness the alleged attack because they were trying to stay cool in their homes. Police are looking for surveillance camera footage of the suspect at or near the scene at Porter and South Lee. [6 ABC]
