Occupy Protesters March from the Liberty Bell to Wall Street
For almost a full week, Occupy protesters made their presence felt in Philadelphia. They came, they were arrested, they screwed up your commute, and now they’ve left. Today, about 100 protesters that got together for what’s been named the National Gathering began a march from the Liberty Bell to Wall Street. Yeah, like, the one in New York. Our iPhone app says that will take one full day, but the protesters have opted to avoid the turnpike and stretch the trek out over a full week. It’s only supposed to feel like we’re on the surface of the sun on Saturday, so we imagine hiking 15 miles will be a real treat. [Inquirer]
