Judge Denies Monsignor Lynn’s Request for House Arrest
Common Pleas Court Judge M. Teresa Sarmina denied, today, Monsignor William Lynn’s request to be monitored under house arrest while awaiting his sentencing hearing. Lynn’s trial wrapped up last month when he was convicted of one count of endangering the welfare of a child. Judge Sarmina, though, did agree to move Lynn’s sentencing hearing up from August 13th to July 24th. Lynn will remain in jail at least until the hearing. [Inquirer]
