Wife of Confessed Patz Killer Talks About Her Husband’s Mental Illness

Rosemary Hernandez—whose husband recently confessed to the 1979 murder of Etan Patz—has issued a statement about her husband’s mental illnesses. Through an attorney, Rosemary Hernandez said that her husband Pedro has suffered from mental delusions for years. He’s reportedly been diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and has previously taken medication for both conditions.
