Temple Makes Provost Acting President

Temple University has named Richard M. Englert—a provost and longtime administrator—as its acting president while the search for a permanent replacement for Ann Weaver Hart continues. Hart had originally said that she was leaving Temple to spend time with her ailing mother in Utah, but later announced that she’d accepted an offer to become the president of the University of Arizona.
