Jason Peters Re-Ruptures Achilles When Roll-A-Bout Malfunctions

Seriously, you can’t make this stuff up. Star Eagles left tackle Jason Peters recently underwent surgery after rupturing his Achilles tendon (see Howard, Ryan). Now, CSN’s Derrick Gunn has reported that the tackle re-ruptured the Achilles and had to undergo a second surgery when the Roll-A-Bout device Peters was using malfunctioned. The tackle had his recovery set-back three weeks and plans to sue the manufacturer. [CSN]
