Jersey Cops Face “Death Race” Probe

New Jersey State Police are investigating claims that some troopers escorted a caravan of luxury sports cars on the Garden State Parkway last month. Witnesses say that the troopers had their emergency lights flashing as they drove in excess of 100 mph followed by Porsches, Lambos, Ferraris, and other luxury cars with tape over their license plates. Apparently one of the drivers was former New York Giant (and newly signed San Francisco 49er) Brandon Jacobs. One witness dubbed the caravan “Death Race 2012.” [NJ.com]
