A Saint From Berks County?

The Vatican Congregation for the Causes of Saints has issued an announcement indicating that its cool that the Diocese of Allentown has been looking into the life of Father Walter Ciszek. Ciszek died in Berks County in 1984 and is now being considered for sainthood. “Looking into” the life of Father Ciszek actually took 10 years to complete and required testimony from at least 45 people.
