Ryan Howard Has an Uncommon Infection in His Surgical Wound

The slugger was in Baltimore to see Dr. Mark Myerson yesterday. Dr. Myerson cleaned Howard’s sutures and discovered an infection in The Big Piece’s wound left from when he had surgery to repair his Achilles tendon. Howard will be sidelined indefinitely because caring for the injury is the team’s biggest concern.
