Chris Christie Won’t Help Romney Much Against Obama in New Jersey

A new Quinnipiac survey indicates that a GOP ticket with Chris Christie as the vice president wouldn’t do much good for Mitt Romney in New Jersey. The survey shows that Barack Obama polls ahead of Romney 49 to 39 percent in Jersey and that adding Christie to the ticket would only narrow the gap to 49 to 43. That’s probably not going to get it done. But, Romney still leads Santorum and Gingrich significantly when up against Obama in the survey of New Jersey voters. So, he’s got that going for him. [CBS 3]
