See It: Broken Tower
James Franco has a thing for gay guys and poetry
James Franco plays gay again – this time as the poet Hart Crane in a new film – Broken Tower. The moody black-and-white film (named for one of Crane’s most famous works) explores the poet’s short life (he committed suicide at age 32) and the impact his work’s had on generations of writers since.
We just noticed that it’s available now on Comcast On Demand as it lands in theaters. Later this year, Franco’s other new film Sal is also expected to be released. It chronicles the life of gay actor Sal Mineo.
