At 1706 Rittenhouse, Cliff Lee is Just the Guy Next Door

Despite another down year for Philly’s real estate market, one Center City condo venture seems to be flourishing. Maybe that’s because one of its residents finished the year with six complete-game shutouts and hit two home runs. Or, maybe, it’s because the building is on Rittenhouse and everyone in the city would kill for a full-floor, Center City condo with views of Kennett Square and Mt. Holly (a little hyperbolic, but you get the point). Either way, $114 million in sales—including $18 million in units sold in the fourth quarter of 2011—makes 1706 Rittenhouse the place to buy if your’e rolling in it and looking for swanky digs.
