Woman Stuck in Well for Two Days Rescued By Guy With Hunch

A Burlington County woman was on her way home from work when she fell down a well in the woods on the property of the Mcguire-Dix-Lakehurst Joint Military Base in Pemberton township. She shattered both her legs in the fall and was stuck in the well for 36 hours while volunteers and police searched for her. But, one local guy who knew the woods well had a hunch and started checking the many abandoned wells in the area until he found her. She was lifted to safety by rescue workers and taken to the hospital where she underwent surgery on her broken legs. [6 ABC]
