MSNBC Host Chris Matthews’s Brother Arrested

After a grand jury investigation into his campaign finances and city contracts, James Matthews, chairman of the Montgomery County Commissioners but more notably the brother of MSNBC host Chris Matthews, has been arrested and charged with perjury and something archaic-sounding called “false swearing.” Montco District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman had some particularly choice words for Matthews, saying that he treated the county like it was “his government.” [Inquirer]
