Joliet Wants to Be Eastern State Penitentiary

The closed Joliet Correctional Prison in Illinois has taken a keen interest in all things Eastern State Penitentiary. Joliet’s facility has not been operational since 2002, but is still owned by the Illinois state government. Folks over there are floating the idea of trying to make Joliet the ESP of the Midwest.
