Phils Drop First Half of Double Feature in Extras
Lose to Nats in 10
In a surprise occurrence this afternoon, Ryan Zimmerman played a large role in a Phillies defeat. Zimmerman—who didn’t even start—came through with a clutch RBI for the Nats in the top of the 10th inning after a botched ball by newbie Katz allowed a runner to move into scoring position. The Phils have no time to sulk as they gear up for tonight’s main event with Cliff Lee on the mound as the team searches for its 99th victory of the season. [Phillies]
